Hyperliquid TradingView, Price Charts & Tickers: HYPE on TradingView, Yahoo Finance (HYPE32196-USD), Alerts, Indicators & Historical Data (2026)
How to chart Hyperliquid: TradingView inside the app, HYPE tickers on TradingView, Yahoo Finance and Google Finance, alerts, perp indicators, and exporting historical data via the API (2026).
Hyperliquid runs on TradingView charts: the app embeds the TradingView charting library for every perp and spot market, and HYPE itself is charted on tradingview.com, Yahoo Finance (ticker HYPE32196-USD), Google Finance, CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap. As of September 2026 HYPE trades a long way below its ~$59 all-time high from September 2025, and the charting ecosystem around both the token and the exchange's 200+ markets has matured to the point where you can get alerts, indicators and years of historical data for free. This guide covers every chart platform, the exact tickers to search, how to set alerts, which indicators make sense for perps, and how to export historical data through the API.
Key takeaways
- Inside the app: full TradingView charting library on every market, gas-free, with drawing tools, indicators and alerts.
- On tradingview.com: search HYPEUSDT (Binance, Bybit, KuCoin, etc.), HYPEUSD, or the HYPERLIQUID: prefix for Hyperliquid perp feeds.
- Yahoo Finance: HYPE32196-USD. Google Finance: search "Hyperliquid HYPE". CoinGecko ID: hyperliquid.
- All-time high: ~$96 (September 21, 2026); previous cycle high ~$59 (September 2025). Launch price at the November 2024 airdrop: ~$3–4.
- Historical data: free via the API's
candleSnapshot, or CSV exports from CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap and Yahoo. - Best indicators for perps: funding-rate overlays, open interest, VWAP, ATR for sizing, liquidation heatmaps.
Hyperliquid TradingView integration inside the app
The Hyperliquid chart you see when you open any market on app.hyperliquid.xyz is TradingView's licensed Charting Library, the same engine that powers charts on Binance, Bybit and most serious exchanges. That means the interface is instantly familiar: candlesticks, Heikin Ashi, line and area charts; timeframes from 1 minute to 1 month; dozens of built-in indicators; drawing tools for trendlines, Fibonacci retracements and channels; and a right-click menu for alerts.
Things worth knowing about the in-app chart:
- Data comes from Hyperliquid's own order book, so candles reflect actual on-chain fills, not an aggregate index. For thin HIP-3 or altcoin markets this means the chart can look choppier than a CEX composite.
- The mark price and oracle price are separate lines you can toggle. Liquidations happen at mark price, not last trade; keep it visible when trading leverage. See leverage and liquidation.
- Your orders and positions are drawn on the chart. Drag a limit order line to move it; drag the position line's TP/SL handles to adjust.
- Funding countdown and current rate sit above the chart. Funding is paid hourly on Hyperliquid, which is different from the 8-hour cycle of most CEXs; details in the funding rates guide.
- Indicators and drawings persist per market in your browser. They do not sync to the mobile app.
- Trading from the chart works: click the buy/sell buttons on the chart toolbar to place an order at the crosshair price.
The in-app chart is the right place to trade from. It is not the place to do cross-exchange analysis or to chart the HYPE token against other assets, which is where tradingview.com comes in.

HYPE on TradingView.com: symbols and how to find them
Searching "Hyperliquid" on tradingview.com returns two kinds of results, and it helps to know the difference.
1. HYPE token charts from centralised exchanges
The HYPE token is listed on dozens of CEXs, each of which streams a feed to TradingView. The common symbols:
| Symbol | Exchange | Quote | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| BINANCE:HYPEUSDT | Binance | USDT | Highest CEX volume; perp and spot |
| BYBIT:HYPEUSDT | Bybit | USDT | Spot and perp |
| KUCOIN:HYPEUSDT | KuCoin | USDT | Early listing |
| OKX:HYPEUSDT | OKX | USDT | |
| KRAKEN:HYPEUSD | Kraken | USD | Real USD pair; relevant given the Kraken/Bitnomial talks |
| COINBASE:HYPEUSD | Coinbase | USD | |
| BITGET:HYPEUSDT | Bitget | USDT | |
| CRYPTO:HYPEUSD | TradingView composite | USD | Volume-weighted index across venues; best for long-term charts |
For most analysis, CRYPTO:HYPEUSD (the composite) or BINANCE:HYPEUSDT (the deepest single feed) is what you want.
2. Hyperliquid perp and spot markets under the HYPERLIQUID: prefix
TradingView added Hyperliquid as a data source in 2025, so many Hyperliquid perpetual markets are available with the HYPERLIQUID: prefix — for example HYPERLIQUID:BTCUSD or HYPERLIQUID:HYPEUSDC. Coverage is broadest for major crypto pairs and expands over time; HIP-3 markets (gold, oil, NVDA, XYZ100) are more hit-and-miss on tradingview.com and are best charted inside the app. These feeds are useful for comparing Hyperliquid's price against a CEX to spot basis or funding opportunities.
If a market is missing on tradingview.com, the in-app chart always has it.
Hyperliquid on Yahoo Finance, Google Finance and quote sites
Hyperliquid Yahoo Finance ticker: HYPE32196-USD
Yahoo Finance lists the Hyperliquid token under HYPE32196-USD. The odd number is Yahoo's internal CoinMarketCap-derived identifier, used because several tokens share the HYPE symbol. On that page you get the current quote, day range, 52-week range, market cap, circulating supply, a basic chart, and a Historical Data tab that exports daily OHLC to CSV. Data is delayed a few minutes and sourced from CoinMarketCap, so it is fine for a Hyperliquid quote and useless for execution.
Searches like "Hyperliquid Yahoo", "Yahoo Hyperliquid" and "Hyperliquid Yahoo Finance" generally come from equity investors who track everything in Yahoo portfolios. Note that Yahoo also lists PURR (Hyperliquid Strategies Inc., the Nasdaq treasury company holding ~12.6M HYPE); do not confuse the stock with the token. See Hyperliquid ETF and stock.
Google Finance
Google Finance does not use a clean ticker for HYPE; searching "Hyperliquid HYPE price" in Google returns a knowledge panel with a chart drawn from CoinMarketCap data. For a watchlist, add it via Google Finance's search. The HYPE ETFs (21Shares THYP, Bitwise) do have proper stock tickers on Google Finance.
CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap
These are the canonical Hyperliquid quotes sources for the token: price across all venues, volume, market cap, FDV, supply, and downloadable history. CoinGecko's ID is hyperliquid (coingecko.com/en/coins/hyperliquid); CoinMarketCap's slug is hyperliquid too. Both list the Hyperliquid exchange separately with its markets and volume.

Hyperliquid price chart milestones: ATH, YTD and history
A quick framing for anyone reading a Hyperliquid graph for the first time:
- November 29, 2024: HYPE airdrop and launch at roughly $3–4. 31% of supply distributed to ~94,000 users.
- December 2024: rallied above $25 within weeks on buyback narrative.
- March–April 2025: drawdown below $10 after the JELLYJELLY incident and broader market weakness.
- Mid-2025: sustained rally as revenue climbed toward $100M/month.
- September 2025: first-cycle high around $59.
- September 2026: HYPE breaks $90 and sets a new all-time high near $96 (Sept 21, 2026).
- October 10, 2025: sharp intraday drawdown during the industry-wide crash, then recovery on the strength of Hyperliquid's uptime.
- 2026: choppy consolidation; competition from Lighter and Aster, offset by HIP-3 growth, ETF launches and the Kraken US-entry headline.
Hyperliquid YTD performance and the exact current drawdown from ATH change daily; our HYPE price page tracks them, and the price prediction page frames bull, base and bear scenarios. As of September 2026 the token has been well below its ATH for most of the year.
How to set up alerts on Hyperliquid charts
In the app
- Open the market. Hover over the price scale on the right side of the chart.
- Right-click (or long-press on mobile) and choose Add alert at [price].
- Alternatively, click the bell icon in the order form to set price alerts with a custom threshold.
- Alerts trigger a browser notification; the native iOS/Android app sends push notifications.
On TradingView.com
- Open a HYPE chart (e.g. BINANCE:HYPEUSDT) or a HYPERLIQUID: pair.
- Click the alarm clock icon or press Alt+A.
- Choose the condition: crossing a price, an indicator signal, or a drawing (trendline break).
- Set delivery: app push, email, webhook. Webhooks let you trigger a bot; see trading bots on Hyperliquid.
Free TradingView accounts get a handful of alerts; paid tiers get hundreds and server-side indicator alerts.
Position and liquidation alerts
Price alerts do not tell you about your margin. For alerts on your liquidation distance, funding payments or fills, use HyperDash's wallet alerts or a small script on the API's WebSocket userEvents stream. The whale tracker guide covers the tools.
Indicators that make sense for Hyperliquid perps
Most retail chart setups are built for spot. Perpetuals add funding, open interest and liquidations, which change what is worth watching:
| Indicator | Why it matters on Hyperliquid | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|
| Funding rate | Hourly on Hyperliquid; persistent positive funding means longs are crowded and you are paying to hold | Above the in-app chart; Coinglass; API fundingHistory |
| Open interest | Rising OI with rising price = new longs; rising OI with falling price = new shorts; OI spikes precede liquidation cascades | In-app market stats; Coinglass; HyperDash |
| Mark vs last price | Liquidations use mark; a gap between mark and last signals thin books | In-app chart toggle |
| VWAP | Institutional reference for fair intraday price; good for limit order placement | TradingView built-in |
| ATR (Average True Range) | Size positions so a normal move does not hit your liquidation price | TradingView built-in |
| Liquidation heatmap | Shows where clusters of liquidation prices sit; price is often drawn to them | Coinglass, HyperDash |
| Long/short ratio of top traders | Contrarian signal when extreme | HyperDash, Coinglass |
| Volume profile | Identifies high-volume nodes as support/resistance | TradingView (paid) |
| Basis vs CEX | Hyperliquid perp vs Binance spot spread; arbitrage and sentiment | Compare HYPERLIQUID: and BINANCE: feeds |
The practical rule for perps: your chart should include the mark price, funding and OI at minimum. A pretty candlestick chart without them is a spot chart, and you are not trading spot.
Hyperliquid historical data: how to export it
From the API (free, any market)
The /info endpoint returns OHLCV candles for any perp or spot market:
curl -X POST https://api.hyperliquid.xyz/info \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"type":"candleSnapshot","req":{"coin":"HYPE","interval":"1d","startTime":1732838400000,"endTime":1758585600000}}'
Intervals: 1m, 3m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 2h, 4h, 8h, 12h, 1d, 3d, 1w, 1M. Each candle has open, high, low, close, volume and trade count. There is a limit of about 5,000 candles per request, so for minute data you paginate by time. Funding history (fundingHistory), open interest and every trade (userFills per address, or the full trade stream via WebSocket) are also available. The Hyperliquid API guide has the full reference, and the official docs list every request type.
From the Python SDK
from hyperliquid.info import Info
from hyperliquid.utils import constants

df = pd.DataFrame(candles)
df["t"] = pd.to_datetime(df["t"], unit="ms")
df.to_csv("hype_1h.csv", index=False)
From quote sites (token only)

Common mistakes with Hyperliquid charts
- Charting HYPE on a CEX feed and trading the HYPE perp on Hyperliquid. Small basis differences matter at high leverage; chart the market you trade.
- Ignoring mark price. Wicks on the last-trade chart that never touched mark did not liquidate anyone; wicks on mark did.
- Using 8-hour funding intuition. Hyperliquid funding is hourly and capped at 4%/hour; annualised rates on the chart header are not comparable to Binance's 8-hour rate without conversion.
- Confusing HYPE with PURR or the ETFs. They move together but are different instruments with different holders and hours.
- Reading testnet charts. Prices on app.hyperliquid-testnet.xyz are meaningless; see the testnet guide.
Risk note: charts describe the past; leverage punishes anyone who treats them as a forecast.
Bottom line
Charting Hyperliquid is straightforward once you know where to look: the app itself is TradingView under the hood, tradingview.com covers HYPE across exchanges and many Hyperliquid pairs under the HYPERLIQUID: prefix, Yahoo Finance uses the ticker HYPE32196-USD, and CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap fill in aggregated quotes and CSV history. For perps, add funding, open interest and mark price to whatever indicators you already use, set alerts on both price and position, and pull historical candles straight from the free API when you need to backtest. Everything above works without leaving the Hyperliquid app DEX, which remains the best chart of all for the markets you actually trade.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Hyperliquid on TradingView?
Yes, in two ways. The Hyperliquid app embeds the TradingView charting library, so every perp and spot market on app.hyperliquid.xyz uses TradingView tools natively. On tradingview.com itself, HYPE is charted through exchange feeds such as HYPEUSDT on Binance, Bybit or KuCoin, and Hyperliquid perp markets appear under the HYPERLIQUID: prefix for many pairs.
What is the Hyperliquid ticker on Yahoo Finance?
Yahoo Finance lists the HYPE token as HYPE32196-USD. The number is Yahoo's internal identifier for the Hyperliquid token, added to distinguish it from other assets with the HYPE symbol. Yahoo's data is sourced from CoinMarketCap and updates every few minutes, so it is fine for quotes but not for trading.
What is the Hyperliquid ticker symbol?
The Hyperliquid token trades as HYPE. On Hyperliquid's own spot market the pair is HYPE/USDC; on centralised exchanges it is usually HYPEUSDT or HYPEUSD; on Yahoo Finance it is HYPE32196-USD; on CoinGecko the ID is hyperliquid. Hyperliquid Strategies, the Nasdaq-listed treasury company, trades under the separate ticker PURR.
What is Hyperliquid's all-time high?
HYPE's all-time high is approximately $96, set on September 21, 2026, after breaking above $90 in mid-September. The previous cycle high was about $59 in September 2025. It launched at roughly $3–4 at the November 29, 2024 airdrop, meaning the token has risen more than 25x. Current price, YTD performance and drawdown from ATH are on our HYPE price page.
How do I get Hyperliquid historical data?
The free Hyperliquid API returns OHLCV candles for any market via the candleSnapshot request on https://api.hyperliquid.xyz/info, with intervals from 1 minute to 1 month. For HYPE token price history, CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap offer CSV downloads, and Yahoo Finance's historical tab exports daily data for HYPE32196-USD.
How do I set a price alert for Hyperliquid?
Inside the Hyperliquid app, right-click the chart price scale to add an alert, or use the alert bell in the order panel. On TradingView, open any HYPE or HYPERLIQUID: chart, click the alarm clock icon and set a condition. The official mobile app and tools like HyperDash also support push notifications for price and position events.
